About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Sales Engineer to be based in Miri, Sarawak. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting electrical engineering products and solutions to customers within the Oil & Gas, power, and industrial sectors.

This role combines technical knowledge with customer relationship management to provide suitable engineering solutions based on customer requirements.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Promote and provide technical support for electrical products and solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
• Prepare quotations and proposals, and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits and deliver product presentations when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer support.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of sales or technical experience in the Oil & Gas, power, electrical, or industrial sector.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in technical sales are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Able to understand technical requirements and provide suitable solutions to customers.
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel for customer visits.
• Willing to be based in Miri, Sarawak.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
