We're Hiring: Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Hong Kong (On-site)

Contract: 6 Months (Initial Engagement - Renewable)

Target Start Date: August 2026

Are you an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex data centre builds and migrations? We're looking for a sharp, organized project leader to serve as the central point of coordination for a high-impact APAC Data Centre Programme spanning Hong Kong and Singapore.

What You'll Do

As the primary on-the-ground point of contact for the APAC IT team, you will:

• Drive Programme Execution: Own and maintain a detailed Gantt chart covering all data centre build, migration, and network upgrade activities across Singapore and Hong Kong.
• Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with portfolio managers, internal engineering teams, vendors, and telco providers across US, EMEA, and APAC time zones.
• Manage Critical Milestones: Schedule equipment moves, circuit activations, and cabling activities across Equinix SG2 and HK2.
• Track Vendor Contracts: Monitor equipment housed at Options IT (HK), maintaining strict visibility over contract expiry dates and 90-day exit clauses to sequence migrations smoothly.
• Maintain Senior Stakeholder Visibility: Deliver weekly written status updates directly to senior stakeholders, proactively flagging risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Ensure Governance & Control: Maintain the RAID log, action trackers, and comprehensive project documentation throughout the engagement lifecycle.

What We're Looking ForExperience

• 7+ years of dedicated IT infrastructure project management experience.
• Proven success delivering data centre build or migration projects from end to end.
• Strong hands-on experience managing third-party vendors and service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly across global time zones (US, EMEA, APAC).

Core Competencies & Technical Understanding

• Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking, structured cabling, and telco circuits.
• Tooling: Advanced proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.
• Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge conversations between deep technical teams and senior business leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Financial Services environments.
• Direct familiarity with Equinix co-location facilities.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
