The Industrial Engineering Technician supports factory layout planning and execution activities by conducting layout inspections, maintaining layout drawings, coordinating equipment installation and relocation activities, and assisting with shop floor improvement projects. This role ensures accurate layout documentation and smooth implementation of equipment movement activities in accordance with project requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct layout dimensional inspections and update/create shop floor layout drawing per layout engineer instruction

2. Assist in preparation of shop floor area for new equipment or existing equipment relocation per project timeline

3. Assist equipment vendor & mover during machines installation to ensure machines installation at the designated area

4. Involve in Bills of Quantities (BQ) preparation for the shop floor layout activities.

Job specification:

1. Diploma in Industrial Engineering or any engineering discipline

2. Proficient in AutoCAD for layout drawing creation and updates.

3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

4. Strong attention to detail when updating and maintaining layout drawings

5. Basic analytical ability

6. Basic communication skills

7. Available to work on normal office hours / normal shift

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
