Perform daily accounting activities for our Singapore regulated entities;
Prepare financial and management reports and ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management;
Support finance operations duties such as daily bank reconciliation, liquidity risk monitoring, settlements of trades, etc.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports applicable to CMS license holder;assist the Head of Finance with MAS Risk based capital monitoring to ensure daily risk-based capital requirements are met at all times;
Process payments to vendors and reimbursements to employees.
Perform expense control, work with business to prepare budgets and track profit / lossperformance;
Monitor daily cash position, so as to meet daily operating requirements while maximizing the use of funds.
Investigates and resolves payment disputes/discrepancies;
Provide support on the processing of Accounts payable, payment of invoices and fees asrequired or as instructed;
Assist with financial accounting duties including preparation of general ledger journals andmonth-end schedules, prepare monthly financial reports which comply with IFRS, tax andother regulatory requirements.
Assist in statutory audits, tax compliance and other regulatory matters.
Assist with other administrative duties and other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred but not necessary, plus 3+ years of progressively responsible finance or accounting experience.
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and standard accounting software packages.
Multi-tasker; capable of working on multiple projects at one time, often under pressure.
Awareness of administrative and financial regulations and how to apply them to daily workflows.
