What The Role Is

You will spearhead infrastructure development in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) by managing Infrastructure Development Branch (IDB) and facilitating RSN infrastructure projects to ensure deliverables meet RSN's specifications and requirements.

What You Will Be Working On

• Spearhead new and upgrading infrastructure projects for the RSN
• Support capability developments through the development of infrastructure support
• Upkeep the repository of construction plans and documentation for application in future planning and projects
• Establish land use policies and guidelines in the RSN and enforce their governance and compliance
• Conduct audits on the usage of RSN land and infrastructure to ensure adherence to established policies and guidelines
  
  Challenge(s)
• Navigating a complex operating environment involving multiple stakeholders and external agencies
• Bridging gaps, addressing concerns and managing expectations of operational users, service deliverers and contractors
• Translating and harmonising stakeholders' requirements into a holistic management plan
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Engineering or a related field
• At least 6 years of experience and technical knowledge in the construction industry, with experience in coastal construction and naval operations being advantageous
• Possess governance and control knowledge, and building infrastructure technical knowledge
• Good project management skills
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and coordination skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
