Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer (L2) to provide technical support across enterprise infrastructure and application environments. This role combines day-to-day operational support with project implementation, giving you the opportunity to work on infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, platform deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will collaborate with infrastructure engineers, project teams, and application specialists to maintain secure, stable, and high-performing IT environments while ensuring project deliverables are completed successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Administration
- Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments across development, testing, and production platforms.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and identity-related services.
- Support hybrid identity synchronization using Microsoft Entra ID Connect.
- Assist in managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and digital certificates.
- Administer endpoint management solutions, including software deployment, patch management, and asset management.
Project Delivery
- Participate in infrastructure implementation, system upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, build guides, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with project and application teams to ensure infrastructure readiness for system deployments and go-live activities.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), environment validation, and post-deployment activities.
Incident & Operational Support
- Provide Level 2 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents.
- Troubleshoot issues involving servers, directory services, identity management, and endpoint platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis and escalate complex issues where required.
- Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed service levels.
Change & Continuous Improvement
- Support infrastructure changes in accordance with established change management processes.
- Maintain accurate configuration records and system documentation.
- Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure support, systems administration, or enterprise IT operations.
- Hands-on experience administering:
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Linux (RHEL, CentOS, AlmaLinux or equivalent)
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- DNS
- Experience supporting hybrid identity environments using Microsoft Entra ID Connect.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Certificate Services or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Experience with endpoint management and software deployment tools.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Experience using enterprise ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
