Role Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient stock flow, inventory accuracy, and optimal space utilization. This role plays a key part in demand planning, logistics coordination, and maintaining operational standards across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage forecasting and planning of incoming stock to ensure optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking
- Coordinate and oversee inbound and outbound warehouse operations to ensure smooth and timely execution
- Ensure regular cycle counts and stock takes are conducted, maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy
- Enforce warehouse operational SOPs, safety standards, and company policies
- Plan and coordinate delivery routing for trucks to optimize efficiency and reduce delivery time
- Collaborate with internal departments and logistics partners to ensure smooth container trucking operations, proactively managing and minimizing delays
- Monitor stock movement and analyze inventory flow to improve operational efficiency
- Optimize warehouse space utilization, including layout planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align supply chain activities
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management (FMCG preferred)
- Strong understanding of inventory control, forecasting, and warehouse processes
- Experience in routing and delivery planning is an advantage
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP B1) preferred
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
