Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Man the guardhouse; control access of personnel, visitors, vehicles and deliveries.
Conduct regular patrols of premises, workshop, yard and dormitory areas.
Operate and monitor CCTV and alarm systems; respond to irregularities.
Register visitors/contractors; verify identity and issue passes.
Inspect vehicles and goods to prevent unauthorised removal of property.
Enforce dormitory rules and monitor resident headcount.
Record all incidents and shift activities in the occurrence book.
Respond to emergencies and assist evacuation per company procedures.
Liaise with Police, SCDF and management during incidents or inspections.
Requirements
Valid PLRD Security Officer licence (mandatory).
Completed required WSQ security modules for the grade.
Physically fit; able to patrol/stand across a 12-hour shift.
Willing to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, 6 days/week, including weekends and public holidays.
Alert, disciplined and vigilant.
Basic spoken English; able to communicate with a multi-national workforce.
Prior security or uniformed-service experience preferred.
