Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain our organization’s cloud-based systems. You will bridge the gap between development and operations by managing cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring robust security across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design & Deployment: Architect and provision scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Automation & CI/CD: Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce least-privilege access controls, manage secrets, and ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up cloud-native logging and monitoring (e.g., Amazon CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) to detect vulnerabilities and resolve incidents quickly.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze and reduce cloud spending by rightsizing resources, enabling auto-scaling, and utilizing resource tags.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in architecting, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in managing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC).
- Scripting & Automation: Strong coding skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or GCP Professional Cloud Engineer).
