Group Head of IT
Location: Singapore (Group Head Office) | Reports to: C-Suite / BOD
Role Overview
Robust International is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Group Head of IT, based in Singapore, to lead IT strategy, systems and governance across the group's 20+ subsidiaries worldwide, including operations across Africa. The role owns the group's ERP platform, primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - end to end, from implementation and configuration through day-to-day administration, while also setting group-level IT controls and policy. Given the group runs a lean, centralized IT function, this role is deliberately hands-on: the successful candidate will personally configure, troubleshoot and support systems, not just direct the global IT team.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the group's ERP roadmap aligned with business, finance, and operational goals
Drive end-to-end ERP implementation and support across the group's subsidiaries, ensuring scalability and sustainability
Own hands-on configuration, customization, and ongoing administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the group's primary ERP platform
Ensure seamless integration with finance, procurement, supply chain, and reporting systems
Standardize systems and processes group-wide while accommodating local compliance and regulatory requirements
Drive user adoption, change management, and training programs
Continuously improve ERP performance, reporting capabilities, and business insights

Drive end-to-end supply chain visibility across procurement, inventory, and distribution
Improve demand forecasting, inventory planning, and stock control
Ensure integration between ERP, warehouse, logistics, and supply chain platforms
Partner with operations to improve distribution efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
Accounts & Business Integration
Work closely with Accounts team to ensure seamless ERP-finance integration
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, reporting requirements, and internal controls
Drive standardization of financial and operational processes across the group
Enable accurate, timely, and data-driven reporting and decision-making

Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on IT and transformation initiatives
Manage relationships with ERP vendors, system integrators, and consultants
Drive stakeholder alignment across business, finance, and operational teams
Lead change management and system adoption across diverse geographies
IT Leadership &Infrastructure
Provide hands-on IT leadership for a small, centralized group IT function — directly engaging in execution rather than delegating to a large team
Establish scalable IT architecture and infrastructure across the group
Ensure system security, data integrity, and cybersecurity compliance
Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution as the norm, given the lean team structure
Group IT Governance &Policy
Define, own, and maintain the group's IT policies, standards, and controls framework, ensuring consistent application across all subsidiaries
Define and manage user onboarding and offboarding processes
Oversee creation and control of email accounts, system access, and user permissions
Ensure strict adherence to role-based access controls(RBAC)
Maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with IT governance and security policies

Proven track record of delivering large-scale ERP programs from design to full rollout and stabilization
Experience operating in multi-country, multi-region environments; exposure to Africa and other emerging markets is highly preferred given the group's footprint
Strong exposure to supply chain, logistics, or agriculture-based industries is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage complex transformation programs across diverse geographies from a regional hub such as Singapore

Proven experience working with and managing system integrators, consultants, and external vendors
Strong capability in ERP architecture, system design, and process standardization

Based in Singapore, with willingness to travel across the group's global markets, including Africa, as required

High level of ownership, resilience, and adaptability
