Key Responsibilities

• Perform first-level reviews of KYC profiles submitted by the Front Office to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards before approval.
• Assist the Front Office in resolving KYC documentation gaps and ensuring all required information is obtained.
• Conduct client name screening against internal and external databases to identify sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and adverse media.
• Perform adverse news screening and internet research to identify potential financial crime or reputational risks.
• Source and review supporting documentation, public records, news articles, and online information to validate client declarations.
• Review and assess Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) documentation for Private Banking clients to ensure adequacy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify discrepancies, escalate high-risk findings, and recommend appropriate actions in accordance with AML/CFT policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in KYC/CDD/AML operations within a Private Banking or Wealth Management environment.
• Hands-on experience performing KYC reviews, client onboarding, and periodic reviews.
• Strong experience reviewing Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) documentation for Private Banking clients.
• Experience conducting name screening, sanctions screening, PEP screening, and adverse media checks.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT regulations and regulatory requirements applicable to Private Banking.
