Job Summary

Lead the development and management of detailed construction and shop drawings for building and interior fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective collaboration with project teams to support fabrication and erection processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all project-related drawings from initial concepts to final submissions
• Prepare detailed as-built and shop drawings for interior fit-out and construction works based on oral instructions, sketches, notes, calculations, and dimensions
• Maintain, update, and amend drawings to reflect project changes and requirements
• Perform site checks to verify dimensions, connections, and details for accurate fabrication
• Interpret project scope and requirements to produce clear, comprehensive shop drawings for project teams
• Prepare submission documents and transmittal forms for project approvals
• Consult with project planning personnel to clarify and incorporate necessary drawing details
• Analyze drawings and related documents to prepare fabrication or erection drawings
• Collaborate with quality supervisors to ensure drawings meet specifications and standards
• Explain drawings to production and project teams and provide necessary adjustments
• Produce construction and shop drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or certification in drafting or a related field
• Experience using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD software
• Strong technical drawing skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to interpret complex technical sketches and diagrams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
