JOB ROLE - Technical Support Engineer
EXPERIENCE - 2-4 Years
LOCATION - Singapore
Technical Skills
Experience supporting CCTV, IP Camera, or Video Surveillance Systems.
Good understanding of RTSP protocol and camera streaming.
Knowledge of NVRs, DVRs, and surveillance hardware.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals(TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
Understanding of server hardware and sizing requirements.
Knowledge of GPU, CPU, RAM, storage, and system performance.
Basic understanding of video analytics solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L1/L2 technical support for security camera systems, NVRs, and related hardware.
Respond to customer issues through email, phone, and support hotline.
Escalate complex technical issues to the L3 Support Engineer when required.
Support internal IT infrastructure and customer environments. Maintain high service standards and ensure timely issue
resolution.
Diagnose and troubleshoot camera connectivity, RTSP streaming, camera tunneling, and video analytics issues.
Configure and support surveillance infrastructure, including camera hardware and networking components.
Assess and recommend hardware specifications for customer deployments, including: GPU and VRAM, CPU, RAM,
Storage, Server sizing.
Perform preventive maintenance for customer installations on a scheduled monthly basis.
Prepare maintenance reports, service documentation, and technical records.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field. 2–5 years
of experience in IT Infrastructure, Technical Support, or Surveillance Systems. Experience supporting enterprise
security camera solutions is an advantage. Singapore-based candidates are strongly preferred due to periodic onsite
customer maintenance.
