Job Title: Incident Response Advisor (Cybersecurity)

Location: Penang

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage and analysis of cybersecurity alerts and incidents
• Manage the end-to-end incident lifecycle, including prioritization and escalation
• Classify incidents and initiate containment, remediation, and recovery actions
• Conduct technical investigations and analyze security events and alerts
• Perform forensic analysis and evidence collection on security incidents
• Identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats from large datasets
• Collaborate with CSIRT teams and stakeholders for incident resolution
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams
• Provide L2/L3 support for incident response activities
• Contribute to improving and maturing security incident response processes

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, UEBA
• Full packet capture analysis
• Windows & Linux/Unix environments
• Networking protocols & web technologies
• Deep understanding of:
• Cyber attack techniques & threat hunting
• Incident response lifecycle & frameworks
• Experience analyzing malicious artifacts and unstructured data
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal English)
