Summary of the Role

The Internal Audit Intern supports the Group Internal Audit team in carrying out audit activities by assisting with audit planning, documentation, testing, data analysis, and administrative tasks. The internship provides practical exposure to internal auditing, governance, risk management, and internal control processes.

Job Description

• Assist the audit team in planning and executing internal audit assignments.

• Review and organise audit documents and supporting information.

• Perform basic audit testing and document audit work under supervision.

• Assist in preparing audit working papers and reports.

• Compile, analyse, and validate data using Microsoft Excel and other tools.

• Coordinate with auditees to obtain information and supporting documents.

• Support follow-up of audit findings and maintenance of audit records.

• Perform other audit-related or administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit or audit team members.
