Participants will receive structured training, mentorship, business coaching, market exposure and access to relevant industry partners.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role that involves managing the participant journey, coordinating trainers and mentors, and cultivating ecosystem partnerships to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable ventures.
  • This is a 3-year contract role, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role, subject to programme needs, funding and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Planning and Delivery

  • Plan and manage the end-to-end delivery of the Talent Venture Programme, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, mentorship, venture development, scheduling, budget management and post-programme support.
  • Work with trainers and subject-matter experts to develop practical, accessible and relevant learning content.

Participant and Venture Support

  • Guide and monitor participants’ progress in identifying viable business ideas and developing realistic business and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate appropriate accommodations, coaching and tailored support for participants.
  • Facilitate access to mentors, industry practitioners, professional services and potential customers.

Partnerships and Ecosystem Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, government agencies, community organisations, educational institutions, mentors and funders.
  • Identify opportunities for participants to test, showcase and sell their products or services.
  • Recruit, coordinate and engage suitable trainers, mentors, volunteers and ecosystem partners.

Programme Operations and Governance

  • Manage programme budgets, procurement, vendor coordination, documentation and administrative requirements.
  • Ensure programme activities comply with organisational policies, funding requirements and relevant governance standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth programme execution.

Impact Measurement and Reporting

  • Track programme outcomes, participant progress, preparation of programme reports, stakeholder updates, identification of impact stories and venture development milestones.
  • Gather feedback from participants, mentors, trainers and partners to improve programme delivery.
  • Document key processes, SOPs, learning points and success factors into a programme playbook.

Requirements (Must Have)

  • At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in programme management, entrepreneurship development, business incubation or social impact.
  • Demonstrated experience managing programmes, projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of basic business concepts, including business models, budgeting, marketing, sales and operations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small and dynamic team.
  • Willing to support occasional evening or weekend programme activities.

Good to Have

  • Experience in entrepreneurship, business incubation, micro-enterprise development or running a small business.
  • Experience working in the disability, social service, education or community development sectors.
  • Familiarity with inclusive practices, accessibility and reasonable accommodations.
  • Experience with monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement.
  • Experience managing or supervising a small team.

Key Measures of Success

  • Success in this role may include:
  • Achievement of participant recruitment, retention, and completion targets.
  • Number of participants successfully testing or launching viable business ideas.
  • Quality of mentor, trainer, and partner engagement.
  • Accuracy of budget management and reporting.
  • Positive participant feedback and impact demonstration.
  • Development of a practical programme playbook that supports future scaling and replication.
