Manage all Engineering spend within the APAC Region
Be the key Procurement point of contact in the Region for all Engineering Projects
Develop and implement procurement strategy for Engineering Procurement including new investments but also all factory spend relating to equipment (maintenance, upgrades etc)
Drive commercial performance and continuous efficiency improvements for this Category
Develop suitable systems, processes and tools for for KPI tracking, efficiency improvement and vendor management / development
Management of key suppliers
Identification of category / function resource gaps within the region to drive recruitement and development of appropriate talent to fill these gaps
Lead, drive and develop Engineering Category spend management in APAC
Ultimately accountability for all procurement and efficiency targets for the this category in the Region

Accountable for coordinating and administrating all high spend RFQ’s in lone with global Procurement competitive tendering policy
Accountable to roll out global engineering procurement initiative
Provide Regional expertise in all aspects of engineering procurement but with special focus on CAPEX projects – process and execution
Compile, curate and analyses all category data for the region in order to develop robust category strategy to deliver short and medium term business targets
Work closely with the local teams to implement procurement strategy on Regional / local level – providing project management support and managing stakeholders effectively to remove any local project roadblocks
Identify and develop projects to deliver continuous improvement in service levels, TCO, efficiency and systems & process
Continuously asssess category resource in the region, identifying any skills or capability gaps and further make recommendations for recruitement, training and development
Ensure the country team members have targets defined and is in alignment with the involved Sika Target Markets and country/regional strategies
Assures compliance and ethical standards with applicable laws, Sika’s Procurement Manual and Sika Code of Conduct.
