Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic suppliers and influence commodity strategy to ensure assurance of supply (AOS).
- Drive supplier technology development and quality performance. (Eg: DFX, RCCA, 8D, etc)
- Explore and lead the use of alternate materials/processes/new technology/design improvement to achieve Cost savings, Quality improvement, and AOS aligned with Keysight's business needs.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and worldwide suppliers to resolve complex technical and manufacturing issues.
- Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers and strengthen internal technical capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Motivated individual with strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Preferably 8-11 years of experience in relevant fields. (Eg: materials engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, etc)
- Strong knowledge in Design, DFM, RCA, CAD, FEA tools and mechanical parts fabrication processes (e.g. Sheet Metal, Plastic, Packaging, Additive Manufacturing etc.).
