Role Summary:
The Process Engineer (Printing) will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining plastic surface finishing processes including spray coating, silk screen printing, and pad (tampo) printing. This role requires hands‑on expertise in process development, validation, and production support, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Printing Process Development: Establish and optimize parameters for spray coating, silk screen, and pad printing to ensure stable production and consistent quality.
• Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Resolve process and quality issues, implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve yield, reduce defects, minimize material usage, and enhance efficiency.
• Documentation & Compliance: Develop PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and Work Instructions; ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949.
• Material Qualification: Evaluate and qualify new paints, inks, coatings, and chemicals.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Quality, Tooling, Maintenance, Purchasing, and customers to meet production and quality objectives.
• Audit & Change Support: Support customer audits, quality system compliance, and engineering change implementation.
• Data‑Driven Improvement: Monitor process capability and implement improvements based on data analysis.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years in plastic painting, spray coating, silk screen printing, pad printing, or surface finishing.
• Industry Exposure: Automotive, medical device, electronics, or precision plastics preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and self‑discipline.
• Knowledge: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949 standards.
