岗位职责

Company Description

Design NEU provides integrated interior design consultancy as a core part of its services, embedding interior considerations from the very beginning of most projects. The team brings together specialists in landscape, interior design, and interior decoration to deliver cohesive and well-coordinated solutions. Clients benefit from a single, multidisciplinary design partner and typically do not need additional external consultants. This integrated approach allows Design NEU to offer consistent design direction, streamlined communication, and comprehensive support throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Role Description

The Associate Interior Designer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Serangoon, with flexibility for part of the work to be performed from home. The role involves supporting the development of interior concepts, preparing design presentations, and assisting with space planning across residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include producing construction drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and collaborating with architects, decorators, and other project stakeholders. The Associate Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, gather requirements, revise designs based on feedback, and help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with Design NEU’s quality standards. The role also includes maintaining project documentation, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and staying updated on industry trends, materials, and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional, aesthetically aligned layouts and concepts.
  • Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to translate design intent into clear technical documentation.
  • Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with suppliers and contractors.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
  • Ability to use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic office productivity tools.
  • Strong visual, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and consistency in design execution.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a hybrid work environment.
