About the Role
A NASDAQ-listed AI compute and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure company is expanding its data center footprint across Asia. This is a core execution role on the Asia team, owning the end-to-end delivery of GPU compute infrastructure projects—from procurement, logistics, customs clearance, and deployment through to contract management, multi-party coordination, and risk control. You'll work closely with internal operations, legal, and engineering teams, as well as external data center operators, equipment vendors, law firms, and financial institutions to ensure complex cross-border projects are delivered on time and to spec.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the overall execution of GPU compute infrastructure projects: identify the critical path, track milestones and key deliverables, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate across internal cross-functional teams (operations, legal, tax, procurement, logistics, engineering) and external partners (law firms, accounting firms, banks, tax advisors, equipment vendors, data center operators), owning information consolidation, dependency management, and decision-making.
- Review and revise key project contracts—including compute service agreements, procurement contracts, data center colocation agreements, and third-party payment agreements—identifying commercial risks and driving revisions to closure.
- Support the engineering team across GPU server procurement, shipping, customs clearance, rack-and-stack, and commissioning; interface with data center operators and third-party O&M teams to ensure deployment timelines and SLAs are met.
- Proactively identify project risks, escalate critical issues in a timely manner, and drive solutions to implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above; 5–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in project management, with a track record of leading or co-leading complex cross-functional / cross-regional projects.
- Industry experience in GPU compute, cloud computing, or data centers is required (including but not limited to GPU compute providers, cloud vendors, data center operators, or related investment/advisory firms), with a solid understanding of GPU servers, data center infrastructure, and network deployment.
- Ability to review commercial contracts, identify commercial risks, and propose effective revisions; familiarity with colocation agreements, procurement contracts, and similar structures.
- Excellent cross-lingual, cross-cultural, and cross-functional communication and coordination skills, with the ability to move multi-party collaboration forward efficiently.
- Business-fluent English—able to handle business correspondence, chair multi-party meetings, and review contracts.
- Open to occasional international travel.
