Our client is a publicly listed global AdTech company that provides AI-driven digital marketing and advertising solutions to brands worldwide. Operating across multiple international markets, the company manages large-scale cloud infrastructure that powers high-volume advertising platforms, real-time data processing, and mission-critical business applications.

They are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join their Singapore team and play a key role in building, operating, and optimizing a secure, highly available, and scalable multi-cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Platform Operations

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Alibaba Cloud.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, stability, and performance.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud architectures that support business-critical platforms and global operations.

Infrastructure Automation & DevOps

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and related automation tools.
• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline infrastructure provisioning and operational processes.

Kubernetes & Cloud-native Platform

• Manage and optimize production Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Deploy and manage workloads using Helm Charts.
• Support cloud-native technologies and troubleshoot Service Mesh environments (e.g., Istio) where applicable.

Security, Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, vulnerability management, and data encryption.
• Ensure cloud environments comply with security and compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Build and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring platform reliability and rapid incident response.

Database & Big Data Platform Operations

• Administer and optimize cloud databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Maintain and support distributed data platforms including Kafka, ClickHouse, HBase, StarRocks, and Apache Spark.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize platform stability.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with software engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support cloud-native application deployment and platform optimization.
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to infrastructure design decisions.
• Drive cloud resource optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or cloud operations.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing public cloud environments such as GCP, OCI, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Strong experience administering Kubernetes clusters and deploying applications with Helm Charts.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, including VPC, Load Balancers, CDN, DNS, and firewall/security policies.
• Experience with Nginx/OpenResty for traffic management and reverse proxy configuration.
• Hands-on experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience supporting production databases and distributed middleware platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional cloud certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Professional.
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure for high-traffic internet platforms, AdTech, MarTech, e-commerce, fintech, or other large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with Service Mesh (Istio) and Serverless architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and performance tuning in production environments.
