We are currently hiring an experienced IT Security Officer (ITSO) to support a Government cybersecurity project focused on IM8 Cybersecurity Policy Development and Implementation.

Position Details

Role: IT Security Officer (ITSO)

Project: IM8 Cybersecurity Policy Development & Implementation

Location: Singapore (Work location to be confirmed)

Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Budget: Up to SGD 7,500/month (All-inclusive)

Eligibility: Singapore Citizens Only

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support IM8 cybersecurity governance and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Monitor security posture and ensure compliance with security frameworks.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate incident response activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support vulnerability management, security monitoring, and remediation activities.
• Review security dashboards, alerts, audit findings, and security reports.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance during project design and implementation.
• Support security awareness initiatives, audits, and cybersecurity improvement programs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
• Experience with IM8 Cybersecurity Policy Development & Implementation.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cybersecurity Governance
• Security Operations (SOC)
• Incident Response
• Vulnerability Management
• Risk Assessment
• Security Monitoring
• Endpoint & Network Security
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Cloud Security
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP
• CISM
• CEH
• CISA
• CompTIA Security+
• GCIH
• GSEC

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related discipline.
