As a Graduate Engineer (Designer BIM/VDC), you will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team that uses cutting-edge digital design technologies to create 3D models, engineering drawings, and coordinated construction solutions that bring complex facilities to life.
This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM), 3D design, engineering coordination, and construction technology while working alongside experienced engineers and designers. You will learn how engineering concepts are transformed into digital models and construction-ready deliverables that support the successful delivery of world-class manufacturing facilities

• Preparation of Tender, Construction, As Built, Shop and Co-ordination BIM models and drawings.
• Assist in producing engineering design drawings such as PIDs, layouts, sections, elevations, and details, contributing to the effective communication of design intent and ensuring drawings are accurate, coordinated, and suitable for construction and implementation.
• Perform multi-discipline coordination using BIM tools drawing quality check (verify completeness of Tool Install standards etc.). To ensure Tool Install drawings are accurate, coordinated, and clearly understood for construction purposes.
• Maintains the Engineering drawings to be updated according to revised layout and design all the time.
• Make the necessary updates to the designs, drawings or specifications based on Project requirements, Engineers’ instruction.
• Ensure drawing and model deliverables conform to Exyte CAD/BIM standards. CAD/BIM standard specification applied to project requirements
• To compile, review, and finalize as-built BIM models and drawings, ensuring all installed works are accurately reflected, coordinated across disciplines, and aligned with site conditions, project requirements and markup drawings from contractors.
• Keeps discipline drawing naming standard follows project requirement, ensures drawing revision system is followed.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Produces 3-Dimensional (3D) BIM model and all object modelled are . Ensure 3D object modelled can be physically constructed.
• Produces 2D/3D deliverables based on design and construction schedule.
• Assists on computing material take off from 3D BIM model when required.
• Conducts field inspection related to design coordination when required.
• Works with other discipline designers and sub-contractors to support inter-discipline and space co-ordination works.
• Maintains CAD-BIM Knowledge Center including CAD-BIM Library and Standard Procedure if required.
• Attending SPM/BIM coordination meeting and take necessary action on reviewing and resolving clash.
• Tool Install disciplines - produces Tool Install PID and Routing layouts for Mechanical systems (Liquids, Exhaust, Vacuum), Processs systems (Chemicals, Drains, Gases), Electrical System and Monitoring system (Life Safety system, Remote Monitoring system, Chemical Monitoring system). Prepare Authority drawings submission - when require (NG Gas drawings submission)
• Tool Install Coordination - Ensure all Tool Install systems routings are coordinated to meet space co-coordination requirements, and routings following with Tool Install space management shared coordinated with MEP team

• Diploma from a Polytechnic or Nitec/Higher Nitec from ITE in:
• Information Technology
• Engineering
• Business Information Systems
• Data Management
• Infocomm Technology
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Built Environment
• Engineering Systems Management
• Or other related disciplines

Experience

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Internship experience in administration, engineering support, project coordination, document control, or data management will be an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Comfortable working with databases and digital systems.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI, SharePoint, or BIM platforms will be an advantage.
• Good data entry and record management skills
