Role Description The Store Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Melaka, responsible for supporting daily store operations. This includes receiving, checking, and organizing stock, ensuring accurate labeling and storage, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly store environment. The role involves assisting customers with product information, processing sales transactions, and restocking shelves to ensure product availability and attractive displays. The Store Assistant will also help with basic inventory checks, reporting stock discrepancies, and supporting any in-store promotions or product training activities. Collaboration with supervisors and team members to meet store performance and customer service standards is expected.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Candidates should possess Warehouse/Store operation and basic Organization Skills to manage merchandise, displays, and transactions efficiently.
• Have experience handling forklift/Reachtruck
• Basic numeracy and computer skills for handling point-of-sale systems and simple inventory records.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods in a store environment.
• Prior experience in manufacturing and store operations is an advantage
• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent; higher qualifications in business, retail, or related fields are an added benefit.
