Conduct various types of tests, including functional tests, performance tests, safety tests, and endurance tests.
Vehicle testing for traction system, brake system, PIS system, air conditioner system, door systems, lighting system.
Verify the correct operation of all subsystems, including braking systems, propulsion systems, control systems, and auxiliary systems.
Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues or defects that arise during commissioning.
Follow up, solve and respond to customer requests, complaints and provide corrective actions to ensure customer’s satisfaction.
Locating faults, carrying out repairs and replacing parts.
Ensure quality inspection during commissioning and technical support.
Provide technical assistance to production teams and other departments as needed.
Perform any other job assigned from the superior from time to time when required.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
Experience in the railway industry, preferably with a focus on locomotive testing and commissioning.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including their principles of operation and maintenance.
Proficiency in using various testing equipment and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Conversant in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
