Job OverviewWe are looking for a Finance Executive to support financial reporting, accounts management, taxation, audit coordination, budgeting, forecasting and internal-control activities.
The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, analytical and capable of maintaining accurate financial records while meeting reporting and regulatory deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Assist with invoice registration and accurate entry into the accounting system.
- Prepare and support financial reporting related to withholding tax, corporate income tax and other applicable requirements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve identified discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow and report financial variances.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards and internal procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support management with financial-performance evaluations and decision-making.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenditure, analyse budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial compliance and related initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Hands-on experience in financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation.
- Exposure to taxation, audit coordination, regulatory reporting and financial compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial or accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Strong integrity and commitment to accurate financial reporting.
- Experience in energy, upstream operations, multinational organisations or audit environments would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
