Role Description The IT Application Project Manager – BNM is a contract, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT application projects, particularly those related to banking or regulatory (BNM) requirements. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, scope, and resources; liaising with business users and technical teams; overseeing application support activities; and ensuring issues are resolved promptly. The Project Manager will document requirements, track risks, prepare status reports, and ensure that business processes are aligned with system functionality. This position also involves coordinating testing, implementation, and post-go-live support, while maintaining compliance with client policies and industry standards.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical and process solutions.
• Hands-on experience in application support and technical support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and coordinating resolution with IT teams.
• Solid foundation in information technology, including understanding of enterprise applications, system integration, and IT governance.
• Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement, with experience mapping workflows and aligning them to application capabilities.
• Proven experience managing IT application projects, preferably within banking, financial services, or regulated environments (BNM exposure is an advantage).
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with business users, technical teams, and external partners.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, JIRA, MS Project) is beneficial.
• Comfort working on-site in Shah Alam and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
