Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and sustain encapsulation and dispensing processes to achieve quality, yield, and productivity targets.
- Program, set up, and optimize ASMPT/Asymtek dispensing equipment for production.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), process qualification, and production ramp-up.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues using root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Optimize dispensing parameters such as dispense pattern, volume, speed, pressure, and temperature to ensure process stability.
- Monitor process capability using SPC and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Production, Equipment, Quality, and R&D teams to improve manufacturing performance.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, FMEA, Control Plans, and engineering reports.
- Work with equipment suppliers and material vendors on process improvements and equipment upgrades.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Hands-on experience with ASMPT/Asymtek dispensing systems.
- Experience in encapsulation, underfill, or precision dispensing processes.
- Knowledge of SPC, DOE, PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Full Time Position located in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
