Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support project requirements and cost objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to obtain the best commercial terms.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ), tender enquiries, and procurement documentation.
- Analyze quotations, conduct commercial evaluations, and prepare recommendation reports for management approval.
- Manage the procurement process from enquiry stage through award, purchase order issuance, and delivery monitoring.
- Establish and maintain a database of approved suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor material price trends and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review technical specifications and coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams to ensure procurement requirements are accurately defined.
- Prepare and administer purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and related procurement contracts.
- Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Track procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and services to project sites.
- Verify supplier invoices, delivery orders, and supporting documents for payment processing.
- Assist in budgeting, cost planning, and cash flow forecasting related to procurement activities.
- Support quantity surveying functions including cost analysis, variation pricing, and procurement cost reporting when required.
- Any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
