Role Description

This full-time Technician role is an on-site position based in Seremban. The Technician will support construction and engineering activities including network cabling works by performing routine inspections, basic repairs, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and building systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with site setup, monitoring work progress, handling materials and tools, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. The role also involves reading basic technical drawings, coordinating with supervisors and site teams, documenting work performed, and reporting any issues or defects promptly. The Technician is expected to contribute to smooth project execution and uphold quality standards on every assigned task.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, plans, and work instructions.
• Hands-on skills in using construction tools, measuring instruments, and basic maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of on-site safety practices, safe handling of materials, and adherence to company safety policies.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and reporting issues.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and site teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Seremban and adapt to changing project needs and schedules.
• Relevant technical or vocational certification in construction, engineering, IT or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in construction, building maintenance, or technical support roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
