We are looking for a Logistics Solutions (LS) Application Engineer join our team. This role will be based in Singapore and will work closely with customers, sales teams, and engineering specialists to design innovative automation and intralogistics solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, developing tailored technical solutions, preparing proposals, and providing expert application support throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
This position is offered on a local employment package based on the successful candidate’s country of employment and does not include expatriate benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse customer requirements and operational challenges to develop tailored warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions.
- Design and prepare solution proposals, including concept development, system configuration, pricing and offer for complete warehouse equipment installation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, calculations, drawings, and proposal materials.
- Provide technical expertise and application support to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to effectively communicate the value and capabilities of our automation solutions.
- Provide accurate and timely technical information, including specifications, pricing, and solution details to customers.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Logistics Solutions Team during solution design and proposal development.
- Work with engineering, project management, and sales teams to ensure seamless handover and successful project execution.
- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse automation.
- Ensure compliance with the defined sales process and support continuous improvement of proposal quality and efficiency.
About you
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent design tools.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, throughput analysis, supply chain processes, and automation technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate customer needs into practical and value-driven solutions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, site surveys, trade exhibitions, and industry events as required.
