Role Purpose

Crestron is currently undergoing rapid expansion, investing in resources, and generating new prospects. Consequently, we have an exciting opening for a Crestron Technical Support Specialist to assist our expanding Singapore Region.

We seek a skilled and self-driven professional to collaborate with our partners and clients in addressing and resolving any technical difficulties that may arise with Crestron's on-site solutions.

This position will be in Singapore, reporting to the Manager, Technical Services – SEA, and may necessitate domestic and occasional Southeast Asia regional travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage Technical Support cases, offering phone or remote help and on-site assistance to Crestron's dealers and clients.
• Sustain an expert-level understanding of product features and applications.
• Determine solutions for technical support scenarios, product selection, and system design for system applications.
• Support customers by supplying technical information and assistance for our products and technologies.
• Maintain high-quality professional communication with dealers and customers while resolving their technical issues.
• Conduct technical training sessions for dealers and selected accounts.
• Engage in marketing events, such as trade shows and conferences, to ensure accurate representation of Crestron's message.

Required Competencies

• Possess a bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or Computer Programming, or actively enrolled in a BS program.
• 3-5 years of experience in A/V Integration, Help Desk, or Technical Support.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Ethernet networking technologies. CCNA or a similar networking certification is highly advantageous.
• A self-motivated individual with proven ability to learn new software and hardware technologies quickly and apply them effectively in support of high-profile, real-world projects.
• Demonstrated experience with several of the following: C#, Microsoft PowerShell, BacNET/IP, and SIP/VOIP. Preferred.
• Familiarity with Crestron's proprietary software development tools, including SIMPL Windows,
• SIMPL+, SIMPL#, D3Pro, and Crestron Studio. Preferred
• Capable of prioritizing and confidently delivering in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization.
• Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
