Role Description

Technical Consultation & Solution Development

• Act as the technical subject matter expert for automation, dispensing, and system integration solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand application requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, proof-of-concept (PoC) testing, pilot projects, and solution validations.
• Support solution deployment, scale-up activities, and continuous process optimization.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Collaborate with Business Development, Product, and Engineering teams to develop customer-specific solutions.
• Define process parameters, system configurations, and integration requirements.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), customer evaluations, and technical validations.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with customer objectives.

Technical Knowledge & Training

• Develop technical documentation, application guides, SOPs, troubleshooting manuals, and best practices.
• Conduct technical training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions for customers and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical capability development across the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Quality teams to support customer projects and strategic initiatives.
• Provide technical input for product improvements, solution enhancements, and new technology developments.
• Support technical discussions, proposals, and customer presentations.

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor solution performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.
• Contribute technical insights that support innovation and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Applied Physics, or related disciplines.
• Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Process Improvement methodologies are an added advantage.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Application Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Advanced R&D, Automation, or related technical fields.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, robotics, fluid dispensing technologies, or manufacturing processes.
• Experience in customer-facing technical consultation and solution development.
• Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience within semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, automation, or industrial technology environments will be highly advantageous.
