Role / Skill: Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to support and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure and cloud-native platforms. You will work on AWS-based environments, container platforms, automation, and production support while ensuring platform availability, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Administer Linux servers and troubleshoot production issues.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and optimize system performance.
• Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with DevOps teams to improve platform reliability.
• Ensure security compliance and operational best practices.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda).
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS/OpenShift.
• Linux administration experience.
• Knowledge of Docker and container technologies.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (GitLab/Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Scripting knowledge in Python or Bash.
• Understanding of cloud security and networking concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Helm.
• Prometheus/Grafana.
• AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Developer or Security Specialty).
• DevOps or Platform Engineering experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–5+ years of Cloud/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
