Job Summary

The Maintenance Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliability, safety, and effiiency of production equipment, utility systems, and facility infrastructure. The role supports GMP compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering projects within the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery, utilities, and building facilities.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and coordinate repair activities to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability.

Utilities & Facilities

• Monitor and maintain utility systems including chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, HVAC systems, purified water systems, electrical systems, and sanitary & plumbing.
• Coordinate servicing and maintenance with external contractors and service providers.
• Ensure all facility equipment complies with statutory and company requirements.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, equipment history, and calibration documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, NPRA, ISO, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Participate in internal and external audits and implement corrective actions where required.

Project Management

• Support installation, commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ), relocation, and upgrading of production equipment.
• Coordinate engineering projects with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in CAPEX planning, budgeting, and procurement of spare parts and equipment.

Spare Parts & Inventory

• Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure critical parts are available.
• Manage maintenance tools and equipment.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance costs.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, utilities, and production equipment.
• Familiarity with GMP, NPRA, or FDA requirements is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,800.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Senai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
