Job Description

• To provide planned teaching to students, monitor performances on a daily basis, and provide corrective and descriptive feedback throughout the learning process.
• To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of individual students.
• To demonstrate written evidence of preparation for classes, both long- and short-range plans.
• To be familiar and cognizant of the Cambridge Curriculum and Finnish Curriculum.
• To assess students’ achievement levels.
• To correct and mark work in a timely manner and provide descriptive written and verbal feedback to assist students in learning.
• To vary teaching techniques and use resources/materials to suit learning styles, motivation levels, needs, and capabilities of the students.
• To develop and implement a classroom management scheme that emphasizes a tidy and orderly learning environment.
• To test and evaluate students’ abilities, record grades, check and register attendance, and send Performance Reports to parents.
• To maintain control in the classroom and apply disciplinary measures in accordance with administrative policies and regulations.
• To supervise students outside the classroom and be responsible for maintaining that area as assigned by administration.
• To help in upholding and enforcing school rules and administrative regulations inside and outside the classroom.
• To keep accurate and complete written records for all parent meetings, student meetings, and behavioral/discipline incidents.
• To demonstrate skill and expertise in the subject area taught.
• To maintain professional relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
• To attend and participate in all staff meetings.
• To accept responsibility for extra-curricular activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet students’ diverse needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
