Job Description

As a Project Manager at Sintalow, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects from project initiation through completion. This includes overseeing project schedules, prefabrication works, site execution, testing and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with technical specifications and customer requirements.

• Plan, coordinate and manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Review project specifications, drawings and technical requirements to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, manpower allocation and resource planning to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate closely with internal technicians, prefabrication team, warehouse, procurement and engineering departments to ensure materials, prefabrication works and site activities are completed according to the project schedule.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety and compliance with project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical, operational and scheduling issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor project costs, materials, inventory and resource utilisation.
• Source, evaluate and coordinate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services.
• Prepare and present regular project progress reports to management and customers.
• Manage testing, commissioning, project documentation and final project handover.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and recommend improvements for future projects.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management.
• Experience in managing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects.
• Experience in M&E projects, particularly in water treatment, piping, plumbing or HVAC, will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate project teams.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, vendors and internal teams.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, cost control and risk management.
• Willing and able to travel and work at project sites throughout Malaysia as required.
