Job Description
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong eye for detail and a passion for project costing? We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual to support our commercial and project teams in preparing accurate quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.

- Prepare quotations, cost estimates and tender submissions based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Review tender documents, engineering drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Perform quantity take-offs and calculate material quantities from engineering drawings.
- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and prepare project costing, pricing and profit margin analysis.
- Prepare project budgets and support the Project Manager in monitoring project costs.
- Assist in preparing variation quotations and project-related commercial documentation where required.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Project, Procurement and Finance teams to ensure accurate project costing and smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate costing records, quotation files and tender documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions where appropriate.
- Assist with other commercial and project-related duties as assigned by management.
Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, estimating or tendering.
- Experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), piping, valves or related engineering industries will be an added advantage.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Responsible, organised and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple quotations and tenders within tight deadlines.
