About You

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As the senior field expert, you will be a key technical authority supporting Otis operations in Singapore, playing a critical role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of our elevator systems. Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues, you will combine deep hands-on expertise with strong collaboration across field teams, engineering, and product support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical support for Otis elevator systems, including Gen2, SkyRise, and CompassPlus technologies.
• Assist field technicians with fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• Support commissioning and testing of new Otis installations and modernization projects.
• Collaborate with Otis engineering and product support teams for escalated issues.
• Maintain detailed records of service cases, technical reports, and root cause analyses.
• Conduct technical training for service teams on Otis systems, software tools (e.g., eService, REM), and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with Otis standards, local regulations, and international codes (e.g., EN 81, ASME A17.1).
• Participate in remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance initiatives using Otis monitoring platforms.
• Provide feedback to improve product performance and service processes.
• Provide remote support for field technicians.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Otis elevator systems.
• Strong understanding of Otis control systems, drives, and safety mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Otis diagnostic tools and software platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to interpret Otis technical documentation and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to travel and support field operations as needed, including weekends as and when required.
