Smartcard Printer Operator (Production)
Job Summary:
The Smartcard Printer Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining personalized smartcard printers to ensure high-quality output and timely production. The role also involves conducting quality control inspections of printed cards, performing basic troubleshooting of printer issues, monitoring and maintaining inventory of printing materials, carrying out routine maintenance, and preparing basic operational reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage smartcard printers using the provided software applications.
• Ensure production targets are achieved without compromising print quality.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate printers in accordance with production specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and regular checks to ensure printers are operating at optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to card printing and printer operation.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and consumables; promptly notify the supervisor when stock levels fall below the minimum threshold.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly reports on printer performance and production output.

Qualification
• Experience operating card printers such as HID/Fargo, Evolis, Magicard, Datacard or equivalent
• Strong understanding of design layout techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic printer issues
• Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality card print production
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Previous experience in card printing is an advantage
• High school, diploma or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Working Hours
• Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 5:00PM
• Extended Days: Saturday & Sunday: overtime
• Extended Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM: overtime
