We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our growing project team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating construction activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. You will work closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery from commencement through completion.

The successful candidate will supervise on-site construction activities, monitor project progress, and coordinate resources to ensure work is completed according to project plans and contractual requirements. You will review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents while providing technical support to site personnel and resolving engineering issues that arise during project execution.

Key responsibilities include conducting site inspections, monitoring workmanship and material quality, verifying completed work, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards. You will coordinate daily work schedules, monitor subcontractor performance, and ensure construction activities are carried out efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity.

You will prepare site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and technical documentation to support project management and stakeholder communication. The role also involves coordinating material deliveries, equipment utilization, and workforce planning to minimize delays and optimize project performance.

The Site Engineer will collaborate closely with architects, consultants, quantity surveyors, suppliers, and clients to address technical queries, resolve site issues, and implement engineering solutions. You will participate in project meetings, monitor construction milestones, identify potential risks, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines and quality objectives.

You will ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations by promoting safe work practices, conducting routine safety inspections, and supporting risk management initiatives. The role also involves assisting with testing, commissioning, defect inspections, and project handover activities to ensure successful project completion.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and excellent coordination skills. You should be capable of managing multiple site activities simultaneously, communicating effectively with diverse project stakeholders, and adapting to changing project requirements in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and site management practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction materials, quality control procedures, and inspection standards.
• Familiarity with project scheduling, progress monitoring, and construction planning.
• Understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, or other engineering design and drafting tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
