Job Description
- Install, inspect, service, test, and maintain various fire protection and fire safety systems, including fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, and fire extinguishers.
- Identify system faults, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform necessary repairs and corrective maintenance on fire protection equipment.
- Ensure all fire protection systems are maintained and operated in compliance with applicable safety regulations, industry standards, and local authority requirements (e.g., BOMBA regulations).
- Complete service reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and within schedule.
- Maintain proper care and accountability for all tools, equipment, and materials assigned for daily operations.
- Supervise and coordinate on-site installation activities to ensure works follow approved drawings, method statements, and project schedules.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, Method Statements, ITPs, and related technical submissions for consultant and client approval.
- Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure all test reports and documentation are complete and properly recorded.
Requirements :
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Candidates holding technical certifications in fire protection or other relevant fields are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 3-5 Years of experience as a Fire Engineer/Fire Protection Engineer in MEP Construction Project.
- · Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Systems.
- · Solid understanding of the design and installation of sprinkler, hydrant, fire pump, and FAS systems.
- · Ability to read and interpret fire system drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail when conducting inspections, servicing, and maintenance activities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, perform on-site assignments, and respond to emergency service requests when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
