Job Summary
The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals in accordance with the resort's quality, hygiene and food safety standards. The role supports the daily kitchen operations by ensuring meals are prepared efficiently while delivering a positive dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to approved recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with the resort's quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations and food preparation areas.
- Store and handle food ingredients safely in accordance with food safety requirements.
- Monitor food quality and report any shortages or quality concerns to the immediate superior.
- Assist in receiving, storing and rotating food supplies using proper stock rotation practices.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Certificate or training in Culinary Arts or Food Preparation is an added advantage.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
