We are seeking a dynamic and analytical individual to join our team as a Data Engineer. If you are passionate about building robust pipelines, transforming raw data, and leveraging modern cloud tools to deliver powerful visualizations, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Ingestion & Pipeline Construction: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest raw data from disparate sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud storage).
- Data Cleaning & Transformation: Clean, deduplicate, and validate raw data. Implement transformation logic to convert complex datasets into optimized relational star-schemas or tabular models.
- Data Modeling for BI: Design efficient data models specifically optimized for analytical performance and Power BI consumption.
- Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide clear, actionable business insights.
- DAX & Performance Tuning: Write advanced, optimized DAX queries and Power Query formulas. Tune dashboard performance to ensure fast load times and seamless user experiences.
- Data Governance & Security: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data governance policies, including implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI where required.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of solid, hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipeline development, or business intelligence roles.
- Advanced skills in SQL for querying, data extraction, and managing complex database joins, tables, and views. Experience with Python is a strong advantage.
- Solid proficiency in Power BI, with strong skills in data modeling, Power Query, and advanced DAX query writing
- Hands-on experience with cloud data architectures and warehousing. Deep familiarity with the AWS ecosystem (AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, S3) is preferred, but strong candidates with equivalent cloud-native stacks—such as Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse / Microsoft Fabric, or independent platforms like Snowflake and Databricks—are highly welcomed.
- Open-minded, accountable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player. Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period is highly preferred.
