About the Roles

Join our team as a Service Technician with an industrial machinery manufacturing company based in Central. This permanent role offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a competitive package of basic salary up to $3,500, allowances, and performance bonus. You will be responsible for supporting pump systems through installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and technical assistance across workshop and customer site operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install, validate, and commission pumps and related systems at customer locations.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting, servicing, and minor repair activities for industrial equipment.
• Overhaul oil-lubricated vane pumps, dry vane pumps, claw pumps, and screw pumps in the workshop.
• Provide technical guidance and user training on pump operation and maintenance procedures.
• Investigate equipment issues and prepare comprehensive failure analysis reports.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and update records in the company database.
• Retrieve pump and system-related technical information through the company intranet system.
• Respond efficiently to service requests while ensuring all work is completed safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with the Service Team to support workshop activities and field service operations.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

• Possess a Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Preferably have 2–3 years of experience in servicing pumps, industrial equipment, or mechanical systems.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on troubleshooting abilities with the capability to identify mechanical faults and propose suitable solutions.
• Have experience in pump installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, or overhaul is advantageous.
• Able to prepare accurate technical and service reports.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and willing to learn.
