We are looking for an MES Engineer to support and maintain Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for a leading medical device manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing automation, system support, and continuous improvement initiatives who enjoys working in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across lens manufacturing and chemical production.
• Perform system enhancements, change requests, troubleshooting, and bug fixes.
• Monitor system and server health through routine maintenance and preventive checks.
• Support MES-related projects, including:
• User Requirement Specifications (URS)
• Installation & Operational Qualification (IOQ)
• SOP development and review
• Computer System Validation (CSV)
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, HSE, and corporate quality standards.
• Support smart manufacturing and data-driven digitalisation initiatives.
• Maintain high system availability, reliability, and validated system status.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience within manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SCADA.
• Knowledge of automation technologies including PLC, SCADA, and MES.
• Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or Microsoft Access.
• Programming knowledge in one or more of the following:
• C#
• ASP.NET
• Python
• Visual Basic
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure and networking.
• Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV); exposure to Kneat is an advantage.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 is preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
