Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, n-process, and final inspections of products and materials.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming products and materials.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities.
Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Inspection, QA/QC, or a manufacturing environment.
- Able to use basic measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive, machining, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/ IAFT Quality Management Systems.
- Familiarity with inspection documentation and quality records.
