Job Summary

Support the Project Manager by leading project teams to deliver aluminium fabrication projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Manage schedules, coordinate stakeholders, supervise site and production activities, and ensure compliance with contractual and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of project staff to execute assigned projects efficiently and within budget
• Attend and actively participate in site, coordination, safety, and technical meetings to ensure project alignment
• Review contract documents to fully understand project specifications, contractual obligations, and requirements
• Develop and maintain master programmes for projects, coordinating with Design and Planning teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and hardware
• Prepare, coordinate, and review mock-up samples for approval by Main Contractors and Consultants
• Review architectural, structural, and in-house shop drawings before submission to Consultants and follow up for approvals
• Plan and forecast project schedules to prevent abortive work and ensure smooth project flow
• Apply project management, administrative, contractual, design, and fabrication knowledge to facilitate project operations
• Manage all project correspondence and maintain documentation in compliance with Kao Lee’s ISO************* Quality Manual and Procedures
• Liaise with Professional Engineers on submissions and statutory requirements
• Arrange and coordinate laboratory performance testing with relevant authorities
• Supervise and assist subordinates by enforcing schedules, troubleshooting technical and site issues, conducting site measurements, and performing quality checks
• Collaborate closely with the Production Department to monitor fabrication output and delivery schedules
• Monitor incoming materials and production status on the factory floor, including special hardware and ironmongery from overseas
• Ensure subcontractor installation works comply with construction drawings and quality workmanship standards, including grouting and waterproofing applications
• Regularly check and update work progress and submit fortnightly progress reports
• Verify and approve subcontractor progress claims before submission to Quantity Surveyors by the 10th of each month
• Conduct quarterly appraisals of subcontractors and provide feedback to management for assessment
• Assist the contract team with final project account preparation
• Be available beyond normal working hours, including public holidays, and respond to emergency recalls as required
