About the role

Synergy-PE Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Admin Officer to join our team in our Bayan Lepas, Penang office. As an Admin Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our operations. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Responded to customer enquiries and processed orders promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Maintained accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer databases to support reporting and follow-up activities.

• Managed supplier purchase orders, requisitions, and quotation requests to ensure timely procurement and cost-effectiveness.

• Assisted in sourcing new materials, conducting price comparisons, and evaluating suppliers for quality and reliability.

• Maintained organized filing systems—both electronic and physical—to support efficient document retrieval and compliance.

• Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and customer service, to improve the overall customer experience and streamline operations.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role

2. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook

5. Attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

6. Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment

7. Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude
